The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency, Environmental Protection Agency, and the Centers for Disease Control will conduct door-to-door outreach beginning Saturday to help support East Palestine residents, which was announced Friday evening.

According to FEMA, the teams will be sharing up-to-date information; meeting impacted residents where they can better connect them with resources from government and non-profit organizations to gather information about ongoing concerns and identify any unmet needs.

The EPA also has a new hotline set up to help support residents and businesses, providing various services, including air monitoring, water sampling, and intake for scheduling cleaning services. The number is 866-361-0526.
