Skeletal remains found in Lawrence County identified as man missing since 2013

TAYLOR TWP., Lawrence Co. Pa. - The skeletal remains found in Lawrence County have been identified by the county coroner.
According to New Castle Police, the skeletal remains found in a wooded area in Taylor Township have been identified as Christopher Story.
Story went missing on August 11, 2013, from the Mahoningtown area in New Castle.
New Castle Police say they've investigated the case since August 2013 in an attempt to find Story and determine what happened to him.
His remains were found several weeks ago after an investigation involving the Lawrence County Coroner's Office, New Castle Police Detective Bureau, assistance from the FBI and cadaver dogs.
Coroner Richard Johnson determined the remains were Story's after comparisons of x-rays and certain medical characteristics.
The investigation into his disappearance and death is ongoing and a ruling on the cause or manner of death hasn't been made.
Story's remains are being sent to the FBI for forensic testing and the New Castle Detective Bureau is actively investigating his death.
