Over 30 guns stolen from Newton Falls sporting goods store

NEWTON FALLS, Ohio - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms investigates after thousands of dollars worth of guns were stolen from a sporting goods store in Newton Falls.
According to the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office, 34 guns were stolen from Rattlesnake Hill Sporting Goods early Monday morning around 3, which the Braceville Fire Chief Todd Garland owns.
Sheriff Paul Monroe said there are four suspects in question and they do have an idea of who they are.
"They broke in and intentionally stole these guns," Monroe said, "They're not going to some legal market, these guns are entered as stolen already. They were stolen to further commit other crimes."
Several types of firearms, including handguns and long guns, were stolen from the store.
Garland said the front door of his shop was broken into with a bolt cutter and that this is a huge setback for him.
If he doesn't get the guns back, it's a loss of about "half a year" of income.
"When you lose $14,000 dollars for a small business, I don't care what it is, that's a lot of money," he said, "That's a lot of income. That's many many months to try and make that kind of income up."
