Rail car jumps the tracks in Lordstown
The latest train derailment in the Valley poses no hazards to people living nearby.
A rail car jumped the tracks early Friday in the Norfolk Southern rail yards.
According to Village Mayor Arno Hull, the car was hauling stones from a nearby business, and is not related to the East Palestine derailment.
The derailment, fire, and chemical spill in East Palestine last month has made the public more concerned about railroad safety.
