Warren G. Harding's and Girard's robotics teams move to next competition

Warren's robotics Team E.L.I.T.E. and the Girard RoboCats are preparing to compete at the FIRST Robotics Competition Buckeye Regional.
Team E.L.I.T.E., which stands for Encouraging Learning in Technology and Engineering, and the RoboCats participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition Midwest Regional in Chicago March 8 through 11.
During qualifications, Team E.L.I.T.E. placed 24th while the Robocats placed 13th. During the double elimination round, the RoboCats ranked 3rd.
Their next competition is the Buckeye Regional on March 30 and April 1. Then, they will compete in the Pittsburgh Regional from April 6 through 8. If either team qualifies they will get to participate in the FIRST World Championship in Houston.
Over 40 school from around the world participate in FIRST Robotics Competitions. At this event, the team from Ankara, Turkey traveled the farthest.
