POLAND, Ohio - There's plenty of cleanup to be done after storms rolled through eastern Ohio over the weekend. Downed trees closed roads, intersections were left with no lights after power outages, meanwhile others were still assessing what happened.

“The tree fell on her,” Allison Saxon, a Poland resident said about her daughter in her car during the storm. “Her boyfriend had just pulled in the driveway and it completely fell on his truck while he was in it.”

Strong winds ripped at least six trees down in Saxon’s neighbors yard causing roof damage, a crushed fence, broken shed and more.

"It lifted that trampoline up and over the fence and flung it all the way into our yard,” Saxon said about her neighbor's trampoline.

Saxon and other neighbors said the trees seemed perfectly healthy and they never thought they would fall.

"It was just like dominos. It was crazy. They said it got real black like real dark all of the sudden and then all of a sudden he said the pine trees just started dropping real fast," Saxon said about what her daughter's boyfriend told her.

The intensity leads Saxon to question if it could've been more than just high winds.

“I kept telling the kids ‘did you see a funnel?’ cause it was like a mini tornado,” she said.  “I know the trees are down but how did it take down six trees in one yard?”

There's no confirmation that any kind of tornado formed or touched down.

Due to several downed trees knocking out wires, thousands lost power. Ohio Edison stated it could be until Wednesday afternoon until things are back up and running for some.
