FirstEnergy offers free bottled water, ice to Valley residents still without power

For the second week in a row, folks across all three counties in the Mahoning Valley were hit with multi-day power outages.
That's why FirstEnergy is once again offering free bottled water to anyone still without power.
According to an email from FirstEnergy's Lauren Siburkis, crews are have made significant progress in restoring service for customers.
However, according to FirstEnergy's outage map, thousands in Mahoning and Trumbull Counties and hundreds in Columbiana County are still in the dark as of Monday afternoon.
These folks can go to various Valley Giant Eagle locations and receive two gallons of bottled water and one bag of ice upon request between now on Monday, April 3 and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 5.
The following Valley Giant Eagle locations are participating in this giveaway:
- 478, Boardman-Canfield Road, Youngstown
- 525, East Main Street, Canfield
- 1201, Doral Drive, Boardman
- 5220, Mahoning Avenue, Austintown
- 3130, Center Road, Poland
- 2401, East State Street, Salem
- 8202, East Market Avenue, Warren
- 2700, Mahoning Avenue, Warren
