MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio - The Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board and NAMI Mahoning Valley will honor local police who completed crisis intervention training this week.

A luncheon and graduation ceremony will be held Friday afternoon at the YMCA.

Crisis Intervention Training is a 40-hour program designed to improve the connections between law enforcement and individuals with mental illness.
