Poland Police searching for suspicious person spotted at McKinley Elementary School Tuesday

Poland Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspicious individual who was on McKinley Elementary School property uninvited on Tuesday.
Poland Superintendent, Craig Hockenberry tells 21 News this suspect was on school property during Kindergarten Family Fun Night just before 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Hockenberry says the man claimed to be a former student who wanted to look at his old classroom and reminisce, but school officials denied his request, as they did not know who he was.
A Facebook post from Poland Police says the male was looking through windows and "acting suspicious." Hockenberry confirmed that after being told to leave, he circled around the building before leaving.
Hockenberry tells 21 News that this man is not believed to be a threat, but out of abundance of caution, there was an increased police presence during the school day on Wednesday.
Anyone with any information on this suspect can contact Chief Lambert at 330-757-2717.
