POLICE: Suspect jailed after father, son stabbed in Struthers

A suspect is in the Mahoning County Jail and two people are in the hospital after a fight in Struthers Friday night.
Tanner Kirkwood, 18, is being held on two counts of felonious assault.
Police and firefighters were called to a gas station at the 100 block of Lowellville Road at around 9 p.m. after an argument escalated to a fistfight.
One of those involved allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed both victims. It is unclear what type of knife was used.
One victim stabbed in the back was reported to be in critical condition. The other victim was stabbed on the right side of the torso.
A gas station employee told police that one of the victims was her boyfriend and the other victim was her boyfriend's son.
The employee told police a male, who she identified as Cameron Kirkwood pulled up to the gas station around 9:00 p.m., got out of his vehicle and began fighting with the victim.
The employee went on to tell officers that shortly after the fight began, her coworker, who she identified as Tanner exited the passenger side of the vehicle and joined the fight and stabbed the two victims in the back and abdomen respectively.
According to police, the two suspects are siblings.
The employee told police the motivation for the incident likely stemmed from a feud regarding one of the victims selling a vehicle to one of the suspects that began experiencing mechanical issues shortly after the transaction.
Tanner is currently in the Mahoning County Jail on two counts of Felonious Assault and was arraigned on these charges in court on Monday.
Police say Cameron claimed he had hit his head on the pavement and was bleeding from his right cheekbone, had scrapes on his back and was complaining of knee pain.
Cameron was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries pending criminal charges.
