JAC Live has revealed the main attraction at one of the Valley's biggest concert events of the year.

Veteran rocker Kid Rock will headline the Y-Live concert at Wean Park, at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 29, 2023.

Bursting on the music scene in 1998 with his Devil Without a Cause album, Kid Rock followed up with hit singles like “Bawitdaba” and “Cowboy” to “Picture” and “All Summer Long.”

Kid Rock holds the Michigan record for most tickets sold with 150,000 for a run of ten consecutive sold-out shows and set the Little Caesars Arena attendance record in his hometown of Detroit with 86,893 attendees in six sold-out shows.

Kid Rock will appear with Lee Brice and Buckcherry.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, April 14 at 10:00 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com.

Tickets start at $55.

Y-Live has been going on in Youngstown since 2017. Previous years have featured acts such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and Florida Georgia Line.

Last year's event raised over $35,000 for local non-profit groups including $10,000 for the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley in support of their "Success After 6" program.

The United Way has been a partner of Y-Live since 2017.
