Mineral Ridge woman, Campbell man accused of robbing victim at Warren gas station

Two suspects have been arrested in relation to an aggravated robbery incident at a Warren gas station Sunday night.
According to a police report, the incident happened at Fast Fuel on Parkman Road shortly before 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
Police say the victim was communicating with the female suspect, identified as 22-year-old Makayla Wright of Mineral Ridge on Facebook Marketplace in attempt to buy a video game console from her.
According to the report, when Wright texted the victim she was pulling into the parking lot, the victim pulled out approximately $110 when a male suspect, identified as 23-year-old Kurtis Townsend of Campbell allegedly showed the victim a handgun in his waistband, grabbed the money and drove away.
The victim described the gun as a short black handgun with a long extended magazine.
Police say the victim chased the two suspects in his vehicle until officers eventually caught up and conducted a felony traffic stop and arrested them. Police say Townsend had an active arrest warrant from Girard in relation to a probation violation for receiving stolen property.
Townsend and Wright were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, and Townsend is facing additional charges of receiving stolen property and driving under suspension.
The two were arraigned in the Warren Municipal Court on Monday and pled not guilty to all charges and will be back for a contested hearing on April 11.
