Police: School bus driver helps robbery victim in Warren

WARREN, Ohio - A school bus driver is credited with stepping in to help a woman in a frightening situation.
According to a report from Warren Police, a woman was attacked by an unidentified male near the intersection of Height Street NE and Vine Avenue NE in Warren.
Police say the male pulled up to the woman in an orange car, exited the vehicle and began yelling at her about her owing him money. From there, police say the male grabbed the victim by the throat, choked her and punched her in the face.
According to the report, the woman ran up to a nearby school bus and asked the driver to call for help and the driver called police.
Police observed a large red mark on the victim's neck, and the victim told police that the male suspect took the key to her apartment. The victim says she's never seen this man before and did not know who he was.
The victim described the male suspect as a tall, light-skinned male with curly hair.
No arrests have been made at this time.
