Body found washed up on shore of Ohio River in Wellsville

The Columbiana County Coroner's Office confirmed with 21 News that the body was found at around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.

WELLSVILLE, Ohio - Wellsville Police and the Columbiana County Coroner's Office are currently investigating after a body was found washed up on the shore of the Ohio River Wednesday morning.

The Columbiana County Coroner's Office confirmed with 21 News that the body was found at around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, but no additional information was available at this time.

The body is being sent to Cuyahoga County for an autopsy.
