PennDOT announces schedule update for bridge replacement project in Mercer County
According to a press release, work on the project is expected to begin August of 2024 and conclude in July of 2025. The demolition of the existing bridge and pier will happen in 2024.

PennDOT has announced updates to the planned work schedule to replace a bridge that carries Scrubgrass Road over Cool Spring in Findley Township in Mercer County.
According to a press release, work on the project is expected to begin August of 2024 and conclude in July of 2025. The demolition of the existing bridge and pier will happen in 2024.
The purpose of the project is to replace the existing steel stringer bridge with a new prestressed I-beam bridge. Additionally, the work will include new roadway approaches and updated guiderail and pavement markings.
During the work period, there will be a 17-mile detour posted using Route 62 and Church Road.
