A situation in Newton Falls caused a scare at a home on Arlington Boulevard near Lincoln Avenue this afternoon.

According to Trumbull County 911, a woman found a mysterious package at her door.

HAZMAT teams were called out to the area after the woman found a powdery substance on the box.

Dispatchers told 21 News that there was nothing toxic in the package and the substance ended up being a cooking product.
