A Farrell man was sentenced Wednesday to 3 years and 10 months in jail and 6 years of probation for conspiring to distribute a variety of drugs.

According federal court documents, 32-year-old Khiry Whiteside pled guilty to conspiring to distribute cocaine, heroin and fentanyl back in April.

Whiteside was one of 25 people arrested on drug charges back in June 2021 after a year-long investigation in Mercer and Lawrence counties.

The Department of Justice said Whiteside and the 24 others arrested during the 2021 roundup "peddled dozens of kilos" of drugs in Western Pennsylvania.
