One suspect is currently in custody in reference to a threat that prompted the closure of LaBrae Schools on Friday.

According to dispatchers, Warren Township Police confirmed that the school received a threat via email.

As a result, classes were canceled on Friday while police tried to determine if the threat is credible.

LaBrae superintendent, Anthony "AJ" Calderone released a statement on the school district's Facebook page Friday afternoon reassuring families that police deemed the threat not to be credible.

Police eventually were able to identify who made the threats and the suspect is now in police custody.

Calderone says students are safe to return to school on Monday.
