David's Bridal submits WARN notice as company files for bankruptcy

A WARN notice has been filed by David's Bridal after the company filed for bankruptcy.
The notice says David's Bridal, LLC is evaluating its strategic options which could include a sale, a sale of assets and intellectual property, or a potential winddown of some or all business.
According to the notice, these options could result in a limited or company-wide reduction or job elimination of employees.
Under the WARN Act, David's Bridal listed anticipated dates for mass layoffs or plant closings for three different employee classifications. Three phases are listed for corporate employees: April 14, between May 13 and May 27 and between June 12 and August 11.
Distribution Center employees' layoffs are listed between June 12 and June 26. Field and Store employees are between June 12 and August 11.
The Howland Commons location on Niles Cortland Road in Warren is included in the WARN notice.
