TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH - Crews in Trumbull County spent the morning fighting flames at a green house in Hartford Township.

It was around 7 a.m. when the owner of Hartford Greenhouses on Route 7 called 911 to report the fire. Departments from all over eastern Trumbull County responded to the call.

When those crews arrived on scene they began to extinguish the flames, but had to stop shortly after due to a short water supply. Other incoming crews were delayed in response due to construction on Route 7.

It took nearly 5 hours to put out the flames.

One firefighter and a civilian were checked out on scene, but did not need any further medical treatment.

According to the Brookfield Fire Department, the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental. The Ohio State Fire Marshal is investigating.
