WARREN, Ohio - A Youngstown woman has been sentenced for causing thousands of dollars in damages to the Trumbull County Courthouse.
Joanna McCane, 44, appeared before Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Cynthia Rice Wescott on Monday and was placed on probation for five years.
McCane, 44, pleaded guilty earlier this year to one count of vandalism, a fourth-degree felony.
In addition to probation, the judge ordered McCane to repay $5,000 in restitution to the county for the damage.
Police say McCane was seen on surveillance video back in November of 2021 throwing rocks through the windows of the Trumbull County Courthouse.
At one point McCane had considered entering an insanity plea.
