If your mouth has been watering for chicken and greens, Italian stuffed pork chops, and other favorite dishes served up before Nicolinni’s closed their restaurant in Boardman a couple of years ago, you won’t have to wait long to enjoy them again.

Stephanie Lavananty, who owned the Nicolinni’s for 14 years along Route 224 in Boardman, tells 21 News that a new location will open for business on Tuesday, May 2.

Nicolinni’s Chophouse has been hiring employees and preparing to open at 6580 Ironwood Blvd, just east of the Route 11 interchange in Canfield.

Fans of Nicolinni’s food have been posting some of their favorite menu items on the restaurant’s Facebook page, including whitefish Nicollini, mussels, chicken parmesan, and linguine, as well as desserts like sea salt caramel chocolate cake.

Lavanty says the chophouse will be open Tuesday-Thursday from 4 until 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.

The Boardman Nicolinni’s closed in July 2021 and was demolished.  A Swenson’s Drive-in now sits at the location.
