NILES, Ohio - The man accused of stealing a concrete wolf statue from a Niles front yard pleaded guilty to a theft charge last Tuesday.
Robert Scott, 55, was arrested on April 5 after being tracked down by police.
Police said Scott got out of a truck in front of a home on Summit Avenue and loaded up the wolf statue before driving away.
Officials say Scott was identified due to a combination of detective work, tips and the city's Flock camera system.
The judge handed Scott a seven-day jail sentence, a $500 fine and a year of probation.
