AKRON, Ohio - A hearing has been set next month to set bail for an Akron area man facing an 18-count indictment in connection with the deaths of three Youngstown men.

A court-appointed attorney entered a “not guilty” plea in Summit County Common Pleas Court Wednesday on behalf of 58-year-old Elias Gudino of Copley.

Gudino is being held in the Summit County Jail in connection with the kidnapping and murders of 25-year-old Inmer Reyes, 31-year-old Victor Varela-Rodriguez, and 35-year-old Domingo Castillo-Reyes.

The body of a Hispanic male was found along Wright Road in Copley during the morning hours of March 10.

The Akron Police Department found two other adult males in the roadway on Cordova Avenue not far from the location of the first body.

All three victims had been bound, gagged, and shot.

Gudino is charged with multiple counts of aggravated murder, murder, kidnapping, attempted murder, weapons violations, and tampering with evidence.

A bond hearing in the case is scheduled for May 16.
