An Austintown woman is scheduled to be sentenced on June 28 in connection with a deadly head-on crash that state troopers say was a result of aggressive driving.

According to Judge Scott Krichbaum's court, 26-year-old Waylynn Ward pled guilty to vehicular homicide on Wednesday. She had been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, and endangering children.

According to a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a Jeep Grand Cherokee being driven by ran into a car while passing another vehicle along Tippecanoe Road just south of Canfield Road on September 7.

Both the Jeep and the car being passed crashed head-on into an oncoming SUV.

The driver of the car, 65-year-old Daniel Harvischak died in the crash.

Others involved in the accident, including Ward and a two-year-old boy who was a passenger in the Jeep, received minor injuries.
