CAMPBELL, Ohio - Several childcare organizations are participating in the 'Day Without Childcare' movement.

On Monday May 8, daycare facilities will close the business for one day as they traveling to the state capital to seek economic support from the government.

Elsa Muñoz runs a 24 hour daycare in Campbell. She has spent the past few months taking care of children free of charge to help parents.

"The families are struggling to get approval by the system," Muñoz told 21 News.

Now, she's one of many who are preparing to speak in front of elected officials, to ask them for higher earning wages for employees and access to affordable care for families.

Munoz hopes their efforts at the capitol will make a difference.
