YOUNGSTOWN - The Mahoning County Coroner's Office says the death of a woman whose body was found in her burning Youngstown home was an accident.

Seventy-year-old Victoria Houk died from smoke inhalation on the evening of December 7, 2022, according to the coroner.

Investigators say the fire broke out on the first floor of the East Auburndale Avenue home shortly before 6 o'clock that evening.

The woman's body was found after the fire was put out.
