A Columbiana County man who allegedly killed his father was convicted by a jury on a number of charges Friday.

Nathan Tataseo, 47, was convicted on charges of murder, aggravated murder and two counts of theft connected to the death of his father, 76-year-old James Tataseo.

James Tataseo's body was found at his Elm Street home in June 2021.

Nathan Tataseo had served a jail sentence for a falsification conviction after making false statements to police in connection to his father's death.

The judge sentenced Tataseo to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
