The Mercer County Coroner has released the identity of a body that was pulled from Lake Latonka Tuesday afternoon shortly after 5 p.m.

The coroner identified the man as 84-year-old Charles N. Deloe of Pittsburgh.

According to the coroner, Deloe drowned after losing his balance on the dock and falling into the lake, striking his head.

Shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were called to a dock off Latonka Drive after someone reported seeing the victim face down in the water.

Deloe's death has been ruled accidental as a result of asphyxiation by freshwater drowning.
