A fourth suspect wanted for shooting at a car with a baby inside has been arrested by Youngstown Police.

Javon Mixon, 22, was arrested Tuesday and charged with complicity to commit felonious assault.

Mixon is one of four people arrested for the involvement of shooting at a car on May 22, 2023 in the 600 block of West Ravenwood Avenue.

According to a police report, a witness told police they saw a man in a ski mask shooting out of the passenger side window of a Black Chevy Malibu as it traveled west on Ravenwood.

The shooter jumped out of the passenger side front door and fled into the woods before officers arrived on scene.

La’Breilyn Wison, 19, Tyre Washington, 19, and Tilden Johnson, 21, were all arrested after they were pulled over in Mill Creek Park and charged with felonious assault.

When police arrived they arrested the driver, Washington, and the two men in the back seat (Johnson and Wilson).

The suspect who fled from the Malibu, later identified as Mixon had taken off the black hoodie he was seen running in and left in a silver Sebring.

The three men in the vehicle told police they knew Mixon as “Jigga” and did not know he had a gun on him or that he was going to shoot.

Mixon is expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Youngstown municipal court.

No one was injured in the incident.
