A Sharon woman accused of running over a woman in a motorized wheelchair had a hearing in her case Friday.

During the hearing, 41-year-old Audrey Harris had her case sent to the Mercer County Common Pleas Court. Her bond was also cut from $150,000 to $20,000.

Harris is accused of intentionally running over a woman in a wheelchair during a hit-and-run crash on May 13.

The incident happened near the 300 block of Quinby Street on that day.

Sharon police said a 63-year-old woman was traveling on the sidewalk in a motorized wheelchair when a 2021 Ford Fiesta drove up to her, hit her and then drove away without helping her.

According to the criminal complaint, Harris allegedly said "I'm going to hit this [expletive] with my car" to a witness before the crash.

Police believe Harris was intoxicated at the time.

The incident left the victim with serious injuries according to the criminal complaint. She was taken to the hospital and listed as having a cut on her right forearm and possibly broken ribs.

Harris is facing charges of aggravated assault, attempted homicide by a vehicle, DUI, criminal mischief and a number of others.
