Salem man sentenced for 79 child sex crime charges
A Salem man appeared in a Lisbon courtroom Monday afternoon where he was sentenced on 79 counts filed after an undercover child pornography sting.
Brian Hough, 61, was sentenced to 41 years in prison.
More than a year ago, investigators say 61-year-old Brian Hough solicited sex and tried to meet an undercover agent posing as a 14-year-old boy.
The Human Trafficking Task Force had received a tip that Hough was downloading sexually explicit images of minors.
A grand jury handed up an 80-count indictment against Hough, who recently pleaded guilty to all but one of those charges.
Hough was sentenced for importuning, possessing criminal tools, ten counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, and 67 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.
In addition, Hough will be declared a Tier Two Sex Offender.
