William Morvay, the Youngstown City School District Chief of Security between 2017 and 2022, has filed a lawsuit in Mahoning County against former district CEO and superintendent Justin Jennings and the Youngstown Board of Education.
According to the court filing, the suit claims the district breached its contract by failing and refusing to pay Morvay, and he is seeking to receive severance pay for $28,026.40 and mileage in the amount of $162.42 after not having his contract renewed in 2022.
Morvay is also asking for the costs of the lawsuit to be covered by the district and further 'relief' as the court deems equitable.
