The Youngstown Municipal Court has announced on Friday that it has been awarded a grant of $150,000 from the Ohio Supreme Court.

The grant will be utilized to enhance the court's case management system, which would further improve efficiency, accessibility and the overall administration of justice in the community.

The Ohio Supreme Court Technology Grant aims to support local courts in implementing and upgrading their technology systems, fostering innovation and enhancing the delivery of justice across Ohio.

Funding from the grant will be dedicated to upgrading the court's management system, which is a vital tool for the effective management and tracking of cases.
The improvements will allow for streamlined processes, increased accuracy and improved access to case information.

Additionally, the court expects to receive additional funding from the American Rescue Plan (ARP) to cover the remaining balance of the upgrades.
