The Youngstown Parks and Rec employee injured at Bort's Field on Belle Vista in Youngstown was Christian Armstrong, a former Austintown Fitch Football player and current Tiffin University student.

 

Armstrong was seriously injured Wednesday when a flatbed trailer was being hauled by where Armstrong was mowing grass and pined him between his work truck and the trailer.

 

The Wednesday Facebook post stated, "Prayers needed for one of our former Falcons and current Tiffin Dragon, Christian Armstrong, as he undergoes surgery this afternoon. Please keep Christian in your thoughts during this trying time."
