The City of Girard is getting ready for a weekend of fun with the Girard Street Festival, which is set to kick off 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 22.
The festival will last three days from Thurday, June 22 to Saturday, June 24. Attractions include live music, food concessions, vendors, a petting zoo, a 50/50 raffle, rides, games, touch-a-truck and axe throwing.
A complete itinerary for the fest can be found below:
THURSDAY:
- 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Face painting
- 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.: Live music from Dead Flowers
FRIDAY:
- 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Live music from Gary Pirrung
- 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Petting zoo
- 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.: Face painting
- 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.: Girard High School Soccer dunk tank
- 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.: Live music from Southside Fiasco
SATURDAY:
- Noon - 10:00 p.m.: Girard High School Soccer dunk tank
- Noon - 10:00 p.m.: Fat Axes throwing
- 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Live music from Jimmy Mitrega
- 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Live music from Shane McGee
- 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Face painting
- 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.: Live music from The Richie Walkins Trio
- 9:00 p.m.: 50/50 raffle winner drawing
