Bond set for siblings accused of homicide at Youngstown apartment

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Bond has been set on Monday for two siblings accused of a homicide at an apartment on Youngstown's west side in December of 2021.
A motion was filed in the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas to get bond for both 26-year-old Marquez Thomas and his sister, 23-year-old C'Mone Thomas due to a bill of particulars not being filed in a timely manner.
A $75,000 cash bond was set for Marquez and he is to be electronically monitored and is ordered to have no contact with the witnesses or co-defendants in this case.
C'Mone's bond has the same terms, but hers was $125,000 because she did not turn herself in right away.
Both are facing murder, aggravated murder and felonious assault charges. The charges stem from a murder from December of 2021 in which 42-year-old Joseph Addsion was killed and three others were wounded at an apartment complex on Tyrell Avenue.
Both are expected back in court for a motion hearing on August 2 at 11:00 a.m.
