Second Harvest Food Bank, Bill Johnson announce donation of 500 air purifiers for East Palestine

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio - Second Harvest Food Bank along with Valley Congressman, Bill Johnson have announced the donation of 500 in-home air purifiers for East Palestine residents affected by February's train derailment in the village.
These purifiers will be distributed through the First Church of Christ to residents in the affected area with a focus on low-income families.
"This is what it's going to take to help the citizens of East Palestine to have a sense of relief to know they have a unit in their house to remove the odor that some can still smell, so hopefully this will solve that problem for them," Congressman Johnson said.
Anyone interested in receiving an air purifier for their home can contact the First Church of Christ at 330-426-9687.
