YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Humane agents are currently on scene at a home on the 200 Block of East Ravenwood Avenue in Youngstown rescuing over a dozen animals inside.

Youngstown Code Enforcement Officer, Mike Durkin tells 21 News at least 40 to 44 cats were found in the house, along with a dog. There were also reportedly some caged raccoons inside, but Durkin tells us they haven't been found yet.

The house is in deplorable conditions and filled with human waste. Durkin tells us the house is "partially collapsed" with the back of the house caving in. The house is scheduled to be demolished Friday.

At this point the condition of the animals is unclear and it is unknown what if any charges will be filed against the homeowner.
