YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A suspect in a shooting that injured one person on Youngstown's east side in late June has been arrested.

According to Youngstown Police Captain Jason Simon, 40-year-old Ellis Moody was arrested Monday morning and is charged with two counts of Felonious Assault.

The charges stem from a shooting that occurred around 9:30 p.m. at Donation Avenue between Albert Street and North Garland Avenue that left one male victim injured.

YPD Lieutenant, Mohammad Awad previously told 21 News the victim only suffered minor injuries and is expected to be ok. 

Court records show both charges have been filed in the Youngstown Municipal Court, but no arraignment date has been set at this time.
