A Warren man will spend the next five years in prison after being sentenced in federal court Tuesday.

Kaylor Brown, 31, was sentenced to 60 months in prison for conspiring to distribute at least 500 grams of cocaine.

According to the release, the five-year sentence will be served consecutively to the federal sentence he was serving at the time this crime occurred.

Brown was convicted of conspiring to distribute cocaine between January 2020 and 2022. The cocaine trafficking happened while Brown was serving a 70-month sentence in federal prison for a separate cocaine trafficking charge from 2018.

The Farrell Police Department, Mercer Police Department, the FBI and the federal Bureau of Prisons led the investigation.
