Trumbull County Fair rides are up and running again after being shutdown for a few hours Tuesday.

Some fair attendees complained that they bought ride passes for the day, but were unable to enjoy the rides due to a majority of them being shut down.

According to a member of the Trumbull Fair board, the rides were shut down due to staffing issues within the ride company. After rides were appropriately staffed, inspectors had to come in and make sure the rides were safe for opening.

Rides were back up and running Tuesday night.

Trumbull County Fair board officials are figuring out if they can offer attendees refunds or vouchers.
