Kids in truck that plunges into basement, Greenville woman charged

A Greenville, Pennsylvania woman is free on bond after deputies say two children were riding in her pickup when the truck plunged into the basement of a house still under construction.
According to a report filed by the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Department, Veronica Vlack, 30, was coming from Nelson Ledges last week with two boys, ages 4 and 7, when she turned into a driveway off State Street in Kinsman.
The Ford F-150 drove into a basement that had been excavated for a home still being built.
No one was seriously injured.
Vlack told deputies that she became confused while using GPS and took a wrong turn.
According to deputies, Vlack showed signs of impairment but refused to submit to a blood alcohol test.
Vlack pleaded not guilty to charges of DUI, child endangering, and a seat belt violation. She is scheduled to appear before a judge again later this week.
