Monica Robb-Blasdel announces funding for Columbiana County Sheriff's Department

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - State Representative Monica Robb-Blasdel has announced on Thursday funding for the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office's local drug task force in order to mitigate drug trafficking and push for substance use awareness and prevention.
The grant from RecoveryOhio will provide $39,925 in funds from the previous state budget.
Back in march, Robb-Blasdel met with local law enforcement to discuss the pertinent issue of the Columbiana County Drug Task Force emphasizing the importance of keeping drugs off the streets.
"I have been to our local drug force's facility and met with our county sheriff's team to discuss their ongoing efforts to reduce drug crimes impacting our communities. This funding will be put to good use to make that happen," Robb-Blasdel said.
Columbiana County Sheriff, Brian McLaughlin adds that this funding will greatly assist the Sheriff's Department in keeping drugs off the streets.
