While last night's big Powerball winner was in California, a few smaller winning tickets were sold in areas across the country. One of those, a $100,000 ticket, was sold in New Castle, Pennsylvania.

According to a release from the Pennsylvania Lottery, there were actually 5 winners sold in PA last night, including a $2,000,000 winner in Clearfield County. Four $100,000 tickets were also sold in PA: at the Ho Ho Food Mart in New Castle, a Wawa in Philadelphia, a Choice market in Knox, and a LUKOIL in Trevose.

These winning tickets, like all other lottery winners, are subject to federal, state, and local taxes. The winners will not be announced until the tickets are collected, validated, and prizes dispersed.
