One person dead after shooting in Sharon

SHARON, Pa. - Police in Sharon are investigating after a shooting left one man dead.
According to police, officers were called to the 400 block of Baldwin Avenue just before 2:00 AM Sunday morning for the report of gunshots.
When officers got to the scene, they found 32-year-old Chad Runyan of Transfer with multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the chest, according to the coroner's report.
Runyan was taken by ambulance to Sharon Regional Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
An autopsy has been scheduled to collect forensic information. Dr. Eric Vey, a forensic pathologist from the Erie County Coroner's Office will conduct the autopsy.
The Sharon Police Department along with the Mercer County District Attorney's Office and the Mercer County Coroner's Office are continuing to investigate.
