Carrier, a manufacturer of heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, has teamed up with Refigeration Sales Corp. and Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning Valley to donate air purifiers to East Palestine.

"We're proud to support the East Palestine community," said Justin Keppy, president of NA Residential & Light Commercial HVAC for Carrier. "As residents continue navigating recovery efforts, our units will empower them to take control of their indoor environment. From filtering out harmful particulates in the air to odor mitigation, homeowners' peace of mind is our top concern."

According to carrier the units donated can capture more than 99 percent of airborne particles, combine three different filtration solutions and layers to remove particulate and odors and have an auto mode to automatically adjust fan speeds.
