A Youngstown man was arraigned Friday afternoon after allegedly kidnapping and holding his children at gunpoint.

Anthony Alexander Taylor, 32 was charged with 5 felonies, including two counts of aggravated burglary and three counts of kidnapping. 

YPD was called to the scene Thursday of a home on Wychwood Ln. in reference to a female who said her children were taken and held at gunpoint by the child's father. 

The female who called 911 said Taylor was upset she was dating someone, and demand she call him to the house.

According to a police report, he came into her house uninvited, and held the three children at gunpoint. 

The female fled to her mothers house, where she called 911. As she was on the phone, Taylor walked into the house with one of the children and a firearm. 

When officers arrived on scene, Taylor ran to the back door by the kitchen. Police ordered him out of the house where he was then taken into custody. 

Officers found a silver and black firearm in the garage which adjoins to the kitchen. The firearm was collected as evidence. 

Officers searched Taylors Chevy Malibu and found trash, clothes and a "book bag full of sex toys."
