WARREN, Ohio - Testimony is scheduled to continue Tuesday afternoon for a Youngstown man accused of murdering a Warren man during a home burglary.

The trial of twenty-six-year-old Ronieque Requel got underway Monday.   Requel faces seven counts including first-degree aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, intimidation of a crime victim, receiving stolen property, and a weapons charge.

Requel was arrested after Warren police were called to a home on the 2100 block of Milton SE on February 5 to investigate a reported burglary with shots fired.

Inside the house, they found the man who lived there, 28-year-old Adam Spaid, had been shot several times. Spaid was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Requel has been in the Trumbull County Jail since his arrest in February.
