Multiple car break ins reported at swim, tennis clubs in Canfield, Boardman Monday

Multiple police departments have reported multiple vehicle break ins that took place just hours apart at two local swim and tennis clubs on Monday, July 31.
A police report from the Boardman Police Department reveals that officers were called to the Boardman Tennis and Swim Club shortly after 4:00 p.m. on West Boulevard for two vehicles that had been broken into.
Police say both vehicles, a Jeep Cherokee and Buick Envision both had their rear passenger side windows smashed.
According to police, the glove box of the Buick was open and a pair of Gucci sunglasses, and one to two other pairs of sunglasses were stolen. A purse containing two passports was also reported as missing from the Jeep and the glove box appeared to be "rummaged through."
Police say there were no security cameras in the parking lot that would have captured this incident.
Just one hour after this incident, officers from the Canfield Police Department were dispatched to the Canfield Swim and Tennis Club on North Briarcliff Drive for even more vehicle break ins.
The police report does not specify exactly how many vehicles were broken into or what was stolen, but says multiple vehicles had their windows smashed and items stolen from them and goes on to mention that some vehicles that had been left unlocked also had items stolen from them.
At this point, it's unclear if these incidents are connected at this time or if police have any suspects in mind.
